Psychotherapy Training
The Wiesbaden Academy for Psychotherapy

Dr. Hamid Peseschkian leads a psychotherapy training institute in Wiesbaden in its second generation. Founded in the mid-1970s by Dr. Nossrat Peseschkian and continuously developed over the past fifty years, the Wiesbaden Academy of Psychotherapy (WIAP) has become one of the largest training institutes and treatment centers for psychotherapy in Germany.
The Wiesbaden Academy of Psychotherapy (WIAP) is a state-recognized institute for depth-psychologically oriented psychotherapy training. Its concept, based on a humanistic and holistic view of the human being, has shaped the education of more than 1,000 physicians, psychologists, educators, and social educators.
As WIAP’s outpatient clinic, the Wiesbaden Psychotherapy Center made a valuable contribution to regional healthcare. Each week, more than 1,000 adults, children, and adolescents received psychotherapeutic support there — fully recognized by all statutory health insurance providers.
Due to a reform of the Psychotherapists Act in 2019, WIAP no longer offers new training programs or therapy places. Further information is available on the official website of the Wiesbaden Academy of Psychotherapy
