The Wiesbaden Academy for Psychotherapy

Dr. Peseschkian is the Managing and Academic Director of the Wiesbaden Academy for Psychotherapy (WIAP), which was founded in 1979 by Dr. Nossrat Peseschkian (1933-2010). It evolved gradually over the last forty years, and is today one of the largest training institutes and treatment centers for psychotherapy in Germany (among the TOP 5 out of 260).

The WIAP-Academy is a state-licensed training institute of psychodynamic psychotherapy. More than 300 physicians, psychologists, educators and social workers are currently completing a 3 to 5-year-postgraduate training at WIAP, which is a prerequisite for the Health Insurance Licence for a private practice.

The Wiesbaden Psychotherapy Center (outpatient clinic) is accepted by the State Health Insurance. More than 160 residents receive more than 800 adults, children and adolescents for a psychotherapeutic treatment in 30 treatment rooms.
